Pawz Lodge is your local dog daycare facility servicing central Maine. We offer a safe, comfortable and tranquil country setting for your dogs. We treat them like family because they are.

A little about the owner- Jenessa- I grew up on my parents farm with a passion for all animals. From my Labrador by my side starting at the age of 2 for 15 years, to bunnies, birds, cats, pigs, cows, goats, numerous horses and of course our many family dogs. As a teenager, I became extremely intrigued to challenge myself to train animals. As a 4-h member, I volunteered in the community and entered various events. I did endless horse trail riding, competed in gymkhana, draft horse pulls, trained/driven harness race horses, and even participated in giving pony rides for children’s birthday parties.

I had always dreamt of raising and training a border collie to be by my side through it all. As I neared adulthood, I made that dream come true. Mossy of course, became my best friend. He attended anything I had planned for the day. Together we swam, hiked, went four wheeling, traveled, practiced herding and agility, did barn chores, and even went horseback riding together.

Fast forward, I now have a husband Nate, who loves animals just as much I do, which was inevitable. Our family has grown by many feet, hooves and paws over the years. Together we have 2 horses, a cat and have 4 wonderful dogs. (Mossy, Case, Sadie and Rodeo) we have also added some 2 legged family members, our son Karson 4 and Kashton 1. Owning a dog daycare is not only “my calling” but a dream come true!
